Very happy with those boots, its sturdy without been heavy, looks cute and feminine, its super warm and comfy. Absolutely recommend it!

I am sooo excited for it to snow! I bought these boots because I have started walking to work (about 1/1.5 miles) and winter is coming. I wanted a comfortable boot that I can wear indoors and not be too hot; but also something that is comfortable to walk in and something flexible yet gripping on the snow. I have not walked in snow yet of course, but everything else checks out!I like how the back laces up w/ the leather straps, everything seems to be sewn in good quality, they were packed very well in the original box, the soles of the boots are quite rubbery feeling so I anticipate good gripping action (I will update in a few months on that), the soles are flexible so you won't be walking like a snow zombie, leather is nice and of good quality...overall, I am stoked. I plan on wearing these with jeans and I know they will look great. The insides are warm and cozy but again, not too much so your feet become gross and funky. There is room to wear some thick socks and the insoles are nice and squishy...also, they are light-weight and true to size. :)I am quite happy with my functional, fun, and fashionable snow boots! Woohoo! :D

These Mountrek Ellie Lodge Mid boots feature water-resistant suede upper with a faux fur collar and a lace-up front. These are good boots, the small (synthetic) fur trim adds a touch of style. The boots have a durable rubber outer sole with anti-slip pods located at the toe and heel for traction and stability. They are very light weight, have a lot of cushioning, and are easy to slip on and off- probably as they are quite a wide fitting. They appear to be very warm (based on my initial attempt at wearing them in around the house for a couple of hours, I had to take them off as they were actually too warm!). I am looking forward to trying them out in the snow in Niseko at Christmas.
