These boots are very comfortable and warm. They are lighter than I expected. However, I am used to wearing Icebug Metro BUGrip boots in the winter, which have metal studs on the sole. We had some freezing rain a few days ago. I stepped outside in my Sorix boots and slid right off my back step. I went back in and put on my old BUGrips, and I was able to walk on the ice with no problem.These boots are great for snow, but if you live in an icy climate, stick with the BUGrips.

I love these boots becasue they fit more like a shoe then a snow boot which is what I have been looking for. I did go a size bigger then my normal shoe size just because I like to wear heavier socks with my boots and i'm glad i did because they fit perfectaly. That's the other thing I like about these boots they don't pull my socks down like other boots do. What more could you ask for in a boot there comfertable, warm, and light and can be warn in just about any sport whether hicking, snow machining, or just wanting to keep your feet warm when out and about in cold weather.

Love my Icebugs. They fit true to size. I purchased these in white and they are a bright white. The laces stay as they seem to "lock" into the eyehooks. On the bulky side but they definitely do their job. Very happy with my purchase.
