The shoes have definitely done their job in this short winter. It really kept me warm and safe while walking on sheets of ice (slowly). I would have given this 4/5, but instead a 3/5 because of the comfort aspect. Over all it's a good fit, BUT the leather hook at the back of my shoes is rigid and folds. The hard leather kept rubbing the back of my ffet. So, the first time wearing it, I had a blister. I definitely have to play around on how to tie the shoes to find a way for the leather to be kept straight while walking.

I love these boots and they keep my feet EXTREMELY warm! But unfortunately, they were designed so that they dig into the back of my heel. The support part of the boots is great and very comfortable. The sizing is perfectly true to size. I can't really figure out what it is that's digging into my heel, but I wonder if I got a shoe-stretcher if it would be better?

I was looking for a good looking and sturdy pair of winter boots for a while. I finally found these on Amazon, and I got them for a very good price. I took them when I traveled, and tested them in water and snow. They passed with flying colors! They were super comfortable and I received a lots of compliments on them. I also love the pink (and other colors) shoe laces.
